Clan Fell is a small clan of hardy, independent cats who live in the heather moors
of the northern coast of Scotland. These cats are adaptable and strong, able to fish
in the cold waters of the nearby loch and bay or chase hares across the moor.

The clan was founded approximately twenty to thirty years ago by a Scottish wildcat
named Fell, who created and led the clan, which was comprised of feral cats
originating from the nearby fishing and crofting township of Scullomie. The clan was
named in honor of their founder, and leaders take on the suffix "fell" as well.
They gradually established a larger and more defined territory as the clan grew
into what it is today. While they only rarely see the occasional twoleg herding
sheep across the moor, the cats must be on the lookout for dogs and other predators
and contend with the weather and heather burns.

Currently, the clan is struggling with the recent death of their former ceann-cinnidh. He was replaced by his young daughter, Burningfell, who is attempting to lead the clan as well as she can.
